Cycles paths

From North to South, from East to West, follow the numerous marked paths at your own pace and in complete safety.
With more than 150 km of cycle tracks, the island of Oleron is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. With your hair blowing in the wind and your hands on the handlebars, take a ride through the marshes, the national forest, the typical villages, along the sea or even through the oyster beds and fish passes and observe the rich and varied fauna and flora.

Bike rental

No room left to take your bikes in the car? Travel light and simplify your holiday by hiring your bikes directly from La Boulinière campsite.
An external service provider, Vélos 17 Loisirs, hires out bicycles for adults and children on the campsite in July and August.

Hiking trails

For those who prefer walking, discover the footpaths from the Marais des Bris to Saint-Trojan-les-Bains.
Follow the guided tours offered by the tourist offices with themes such as "From the dune to the forest", "A story of man and water", "The strange world of the night"... The association "Les Sorties de la Renarde" also offers guided walks to discover all the treasures of the island of Oleron.

Oléron on horseback or donkey

Renowned for its coastline, its wild salt marshes and its villages, the Ile d'Oléron is an ideal place for horse riding enthusiasts. The walker crosses an amazing variety of landscapes.
The horse riding centres scattered all over the island will take you to the forest for rides, or even to the fine sandy beaches for a gallop!
2.5 kilometres from the campsite, the Dream Pony riding centre offers rides lasting from a few hours to several days.
Les Anes d'Oléron offers children the chance to go on an adventure on marked trails that wind through vineyards, pastures and groves... A nature outing that is sure to delight your little ones!
