Cycles paths

From North to South, from East to West, follow the numerous marked paths at your own pace and in complete safety.
 
With more than 150 km of cycle tracks, the island of Oleron is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. With your hair blowing in the wind and your hands on the handlebars, take a ride through the marshes, the national forest, the typical villages, along the sea or even through the oyster beds and fish passes and observe the rich and varied fauna and flora.
 

Bike rental

No room left to take your bikes in the car? Travel light and simplify your holiday by hiring your bikes directly from La Boulinière campsite.
An external service provider, Vélos 17 Loisirs, hires out bicycles for adults and children on the campsite in July and August.
 
 

Hiking trails

New in 2024, discover the Chemin d'Oléron, 105 km of walking between marshes and forest to discover the Ile d'Oléron in a whole new way!
 
Follow the guided tours offered by the tourist offices with themes such as "From the dune to the forest", "A story of man and water", "The strange world of the night"... The association "Les Sorties de la Renarde" also offers guided walks to discover all the treasures of the island of Oleron.
 

Oléron on horseback or donkey

Renowned for its coastline, wild salt marshes and villages, the Ile d'Oléron is an ideal place for horse-riding enthusiasts. Riders pass through an astonishing variety of landscapes.
The riding centres dotted around the island will take you for rides in the forest, or even galloping along the fine sandy beaches!
Just a few kilometres from the campsite, you'll find various establishments offering riding lessons or rides for all levels.  
La Ferme aux Ânes, just 500m from the campsite, offers a range of activities for children, including a small farmer's course with lots of animals that will appeal to nature lovers... An outing full of adventure that's sure to delight your little ones!
